Form Scheduler add-on for Google Forms lets you to limit responses and schedule the form based on the google calendar events.

1. Stop at maximum

Allows you to close the form after accepting a certain number of responses.

If set, the custom message will be displayed when the form is not accepting responses.

2. Stop at specific date and time

Allows you to close the form after a specific date and time. If set, the custom message will be displayed when the form is not accepting responses.

Mozilla Firefox do not support date calendar control. You may have to type date as YYYY-MM-DDThh:mm i.e. 2018-12-31T11:59


3. Accept during the calendar events

Allows you to open or close the form for accepting or stopping responses during calendar events. You can control the behavior by specifying the maximum, fixed, or variable number of responses to be accepted during each event occurrence.

A form will be open for accepting responses when the event is active. If the event is inactive, the form will be closed.

You can control the number of responses by:

3.1 Accepting unlimited number of responses during the event occurrence.

Your form will be open during the event occurrence and closed when the event is inactive. However, it can accept any number of responses when it is open.


In your Calendar consultation

Create the one-time or recurring events as shown in the screenshots.

3.2 Limit the number of responses during the event occurrence.

Your form will be open during the event occurrence and will be closed when the event is inactive or when it has received the specified number of responses during the event period (whichever comes first).


1. Choose you calendar from the list.

2. Specify the accepting event name (case-sensitive). This name should match exactly as specified in the chosen calendar. The event may be a one-time event or a recurring event.

3. Select the checkbox Limit the number of responses during each event to and enter a number.

4. Optionally you can override the number of responses by specifying the value in the event description within {} (see the below screenshot). 

Example:  

A description without {value} defaults to 20 responses

5. Optionally, you can choose to be notified when the form is closed by selecting Notify me when form is closed

6. Click Save

Create the one-time or recurring events as shown in the screenshot below.

3.3 Limit the total number of responses irrespective of events

Your form will be open during the event occurrence and will be closed when the event is inactive. Additionally, it will remain closed once the total number of responses reaches 5000, even if the event is still active.


1. Choose your calendar from the list.

2. Specify the accepting event name (case sensitive). This name should match exactly as specified in the chosen calendar. The event may be a one time event or recurring event.

3. Optionally can also set the form to  2. Limit the number of responses during the event occurrence as described earlier.

4. Specify a value to Stop accepting after a total of which is usually a number.

5. Optionally, you can choose to be notified when the form is closed by selecting Notify me when form is closed

6. Click Save

Create the one time or recurring events as shown below in the screenshot.
